WHISK is a hospitality studio based between Biarritz and San Francisco, founded by Maggie Spicer. We design private travel experiences in France, host dinners and events, and offer brand strategy, PR, and go-to-market support for hospitality, food, and CPG founders. WHISK is intentionally small and selective, taking on a limited number of clients each season.

WHISK works primarily in France — Paris, the Basque Country, Burgundy, and Champagne — for private travel and on-the-ground concierge services. Studio work for hospitality, food, and CPG brands is global, with strong networks across San Francisco, Tokyo, Copenhagen, and Paris.

A WHISK travel design engagement includes a personalized consultation, custom itinerary design, hotel and villa sourcing, restaurant reservations and introductions, cultural and food access, and on-the-ground concierge support during the trip. Engagements are designed around the client's pace, taste, and interests rather than pre-built itineraries.

For summer travel in France, we recommend inquiring 2-6 months in advance. WHISK takes a limited number of summer clients, and high-demand windows (July, August, late June, early September) often fill by late spring. For 2026 summer travel, current availability is best for shoulder-season weeks and pre-booked-property concierge support.

WHISK works with both. Our Experiences path serves private travelers, families, founders, and creative clients seeking custom trips and hosted gatherings in France. Our Studio path serves hospitality, food, and CPG founders building or scaling their brands — including hotels, restaurants, épiceries, and consumer product companies.

The WHISK Studio offers hospitality strategy, brand and concept development, guest experience design, interior styling, sourcing, PR, fundraising strategy, and go-to-market launch support. We work with founders bringing new hospitality and CPG ventures to life, as well as established businesses preparing for a relaunch or next chapter.

Yes. WHISK designs and hosts private dinners, gatherings, and small events in France, drawing on our network of chefs, makers, and trusted local partners. These can be standalone bookings or part of a broader travel design or concierge engagement.

WHISK projects are custom. Travel design engagements typically begin at €3,500, with on-the-ground concierge support starting at €2,500. Studio engagements begin at €7,500, with brand and launch retainers quoted by scope. We share detailed pricing during inquiry conversations once we understand your specific needs.

Maggie Spicer is the founder of WHISK. She brings together a background in hospitality, experience design, philanthropic venture, and cultural programming across San Francisco, Tokyo, Copenhagen, and Paris.
